:loudspeaker: Get ready for Gitcoin Grants Round 20, which focuses on 4 OSS programs: Hackathon Alumni, dApps & Apps, Developer Tooling, and Libraries, and Web3 Infrastructure. Find out more about the Eligibility Criteria.

:potted_plant:A GG20 Project Charter has been introduced, revitalizing the design and management of the Gitcoin Grants. This unfolds in three phases:

  1. Crafting Agreements in the Open;

  2. Services Delivery with Community Oversight;

  3. Project Closeout & Community Feedback.

:rocket: The Gitcoin Citizen Grants Program is now split into:

  • Citizens Retro (Retroactive Funding). Join this program if you have made contributions in pursuit of Gitcoin’s essential intents.
  • Citizens Innovate (Citizen Proposals). Join this program if you can push the boundaries of grants discovery and management with LLMs in alignment with the Citizens Innovate RFP.
  • Citizens Forward (RFPs). Join this program if you can assist with discovery of public goods and personalize the experience for users in accordance with the Citizens Forward RFP.

What’s new?

Gitcoin’s community is now being fostered under the banner of the Ecosystem Collective.

  • The :purple_circle: 360 Team is responsible for guiding the EC’s strategy, holding context for :large_blue_circle: Gitcoin Citizens, and acting as points of accountability for :white_circle: Citizens who spin up new initiatives through the Citizen Grants program.
