Meta-Governance

-
Schelling Point Updates by Ben describes all of the latest updates and details including locations and Covid-safety rules. Join the Telegram group to coordinate with other attendees!
-
The response by Glen Weyl to Owocki’s “A Vision for A Pluralistic Civilizational Scale Infrastructure for funding Public Goods” thread sparked a rousing discussion on quadratic funding, with interesting points made by nollied and Ben.
-
Scaling Funding for Blockchain-era Public Goods by Owocki provides some context behind barriers to high throughput public goods funding. “Funding distribution mechanisms & funding sources are two sides of the same coin. We’ve conducted almost 15 hours of strategy meetings, aligning on the essential intent in each of our focus areas and the outcomes needed during the next 3 months to help us get there. You can think of these as “What would be true if FDD is successful over the next 90 days”.
-
Treasury management netted us $75k in gains. The stream will end up with $30k extra after using a portion of the gains to kickstart the FDD OS, increasing the number of human evaluations, and beginning work on a red team simulation software similar to cadCAD.
