Hello again Gitcoin! This post goes over the follow up of the proposed Gitcoin x Currency Coin partnership from the previous post found at this link: Initial Partnership Request Post
What is Currency Coin? - On September 8th, 2015 the contract for the coin was deployed to Ethereum making it one of the earliest coin contracts on Ethereum. This coin is unique against others due to its relation to both the ERC20 functionalities, and a file Vitalik authored and published to GitHub for standardized currency contracts, which later inspired the official ERC20 proposal and standard.
For quick reference, provided is the official Currency Coin website, X account, and original etherscan link:

The main focus of this proposal will be to foster growth in the Ethereum ecosystem and assist in developer growth. The code for Currency Coin has had such an overwhelming positive effect on Ethereum in the past and the goal is to continue to have a positive impact by funding innovation for years to come. We are thankful towards Gitcoin for giving us a platform to be able to do this.
We would like to encourage the Gitcoin stewards community to respond to and discuss this partnership proposal so that it can move forward to a vote!
Thank you
