Iām a Recovery Support Peer Specialist, founder, and someone who learned Web3 from scratchāliterally on a flip phone. I came into this space with one goal: to build tools that serve real people in recovery.
Right now Iām working on two projects:
Recovery Haven (for peer professionals) and Daily Haven (for folks in recovery).
Both are designed with dignity in mindāoffering AI-powered check-ins, outreach tools, and future options like token rewards and peer support you can trust.
I believe recovery support should be seen as a public goodāand Gitcoin is the kind of space where I hope we can grow that idea.
Thanks for making room for people like me to show up and build.
I am the creator of openlittermap and littercoin. I bring more than 16+ years of research to the community. Today, my only source of funding is from gitcoin. I am desci only.
I have been in ethereum since 2015. I was a member of the original DAO and still find that to be one of the most inspiring movements I have ever been a part of. At the time eth was new and we created the largest crowdfunding project in the history of the internet.
I want us to get back to that vision of fixing some of the biggest problems in the world.
For sensemaking, I want to propose that ethereums biggest challenges have become relevance and purpose.
I believe citizen science is the most effective way for us to re-achieve relevance and purpose.
There are 5/8 billion people connected online who are waiting to be empowered with better tools than social media.
Really appreciate you showing up here and sharing your background. Iām building a recovery-focused public goods project called Recovery Commons, rooted in peer support, dignity, and second chances ā especially for folks impacted by addiction, incarceration, and systemic neglect.
Seeing leaders like you return to the forum with support for early-stage builders gives me hope. If you ever feel like exploring how regenerative systems might serve healing and re-entry communities, Iād be honored to share what weāre building.
Either way, welcome back ā your presence is fuel for the rest of us.
My name is Hasan, and Iām writing from Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia. I come from a cooperative (co-op) education background and have recently developed a deep interest in Web3.
I find the values of Web3 ā decentralization, transparency, and community sovereignty ā to be strongly aligned with the core principles of cooperatives. This connection has inspired me to begin a personal journey of learning Web3 technologies, with the long-term goal of building a cooperative or DAO-based model in my region.
Sumedang is home to the only university in Indonesia that focuses on cooperative studies, making it a meaningful location for this vision. However, I currently face financial limitations and lack access to proper tools to begin learning. I am in need of a computer/laptop and a smartphone to participate in online courses, communities, and programs related to Web3.
While I cannot promise immediate results, I am fully committed and willing to submit monthly progress updates to any individual or organization willing to support this learning journey.
Iām open to any guidance, program recommendations, or support opportunities you may be able to offer. Thank you very much for your time, attention, and any consideration you can give.

Iām here to help Web3 projects shine through high-impact tutorials, promotional videos, and community-building content. Whether itās a step-by-step airdrop guide, a viral TikTok, or an X thread to boost your projectās reach, Iāve got you covered.
Hi everyone! Iām Steve Brandon, a curious newbie⦠I donāt know much about Public Goods Funding, DAOs, or Open Source yet, but Iām excited to learn how these can support communities and open projects. Iām especially interested in how small contributions can make a difference while I build my own experience.
I stumbled upon Gitcoin while searching online for ways to earn money with crypto. Someone on a forum mentioned it, and it seemed like a good starting point for someone new like me who wants to explore whatās possible.
Iām still learning and hope to discover a lot here. I have a limited background in tech, but Iām motivated to get involved. If anyone has tips for a beginner, Iād love to hear themāIām open to help!
Iām building something a bit⦠different. Itās called The Black Ledger a myth-layered, onchain economic simulation designed to invite the next 400M system-literate users into crypto not as speculators, but as citizens.
This isnāt gamification. Itās a coordination engine, wrapped in consequence and lore where traders become worldbuilders, and every coin minted has a story etched in it.
Iām here because I believe public goods deserve a narrative arc and Ethereum deserves a civilization willing to fight for it.
I wonāt flood this post with detail if the above resonates, follow the echoes. If not, all good.
Tian here from japan. Iām a newbie to web3 development. Iām a front-end developer who is passionate in web3 development, and currently learning to write contracts in solidity, looking for a way to get into this industry. looking forward to join in some beginner-friendly block-chain projects.
Hey everyone! Iām Chelsea ā I spent the past few years working in FP&A at big tech, crunching numbers, building models, and partnering with all kinds of teams.
Lately, Iāve been diving deep into Web3 and loving the energy and innovation here.
Iām looking to get hands-on experience in this space, so if youāre working on something cool or know of any volunteer/intern projects where I can add value, hit me up!
Excited to connect, learn, and contribute with you all. Letās build something awesome together!
Hi everyone! My name is Surbhi. Iām very new to the practical world of Blockchain, Web3, and DAOs but diving into it has been an exciting journey. While Iāve written technical articles on topics like NFTs, smart contracts, crypto whales, and more, it wasnāt until last month that I actually minted my first NFT and the experience was absolutely thrilling.
It felt like a distant dream finally coming true. Learning all the technical steps and applying my knowledge practically helped me transform theory into reality. Now, I proudly own not just one, but four NFTs.
One thing led to another, and my curiosity kept growing. That led me here to Gitcoin ā one of those fortunate steps on my learning path.
It might sound simple to others, but I now understand and know about smart contract, diff between ERC-721 & ERC-1155, how to use Remix IDE, set royalties, update metadata, mint an audio NFT using attributes animation_url, creating a json file and it is an emotion for me to finally see my art up there on Opensea and Rarible.
For someone who didnāt know any of this just a while ago, I feel like Iām growing and learning at an exponential rate, and Iām incredibly grateful to be part of this space.
Hi everyone, Iām Richard. Iām passionate about designing financial infrastructure that works as a public good - systems where incentives are aligned to benefit the many, not just intermediaries.
Iām currently building Aquarius, a multi-currency, agentic FX stablecoin exchange thatās self-funding, zero-fee, and redistributes yield to participants. The aim is to collapse $1T+ in annual foreign exchange costs and return that value to SMEs, remittance users, and communities worldwide.
I found my way to Gitcoin through the RadicalxChange and pluralism networks - Iām fascinated by how quadratic funding and other mechanism design tools can help direct protocol rewards toward public-good outcomes.
Excited to learn from this community and explore how these ideas can be applied to large-scale financial markets.
