Grant Proposal: Shatterfall 50K | VaultForge Engine & Gloam Coin Mythos
Hi Gitcoin fam, I’m Jacob, founder of SpadeCapitalHoldings.com, where I help entrepreneurs raise funding and navigate capital strategy. I’ve spent years behind the curtain helping others scale, but this is the first time I’m stepping into the arena with something of my own.
I’d love your feedback on a project that’s very close to my heart.
What Is Shatterfall 50K?
Shatterfall 50K is a narrative-driven crypto economy, where high-fidelity lore, factional choice, and vault-based smart contracts create a new type of world — one where story becomes structure, and myth fuels mechanics.
At the core are two components:
- VaultForge Engine — a smart contract and UI layer for unlocking vaults, coordinating symbolic economic actions, and binding myth to cryptographic truth.
- Gloam Coin (GLM) — a belief-based token used to interact with vaults, power faction decisions, and eventually shape a live, evolving economy.
This isn’t just lore. This is a functional economic engine, designed to fund itself through narrative engagement and regenerative game loops.
Why Gitcoin?
We’re raising capital not to sell a product — but to seed a world. A world where:
- Story unlocks code
- Code unlocks coordination
- And coordination funds the next story
We’re building this natively on Ethereum, because we believe the Ethereum ecosystem is the only home with the values, tooling, and people capable of supporting something this ambitious.
Our Commitment to Ethereum
We want to be absolutely clear:
Shatterfall 50K, VaultForge, and Gloam Coin are proudly Ethereum-aligned.
We’re not here to compete with Ethereum — we’re here to re-enchant it. We see Ethereum as the soil, and our project as a mythic ecosystem growing from it.
We value the ETH community’s work in open coordination and composability, and we’re building tools that expand Ethereum’s reach to players, storytellers, and dreamers.
Gitcoin 3.0: Our Story-Layer Contribution
Gloam Coin and VaultForge were not built to fix Ethereum’s code — but they do soft-solve several of its biggest challenges:

Vault-based loops fund content via interaction, not extraction |

GLM = belief token, not just a utility token |
We’re building a regenerative public good — not with spreadsheets, but with symbols.
What We’re Seeking
We are looking to raise $150K–$250K in Gitcoin grant funding to:
Launch VaultForge smart contract alpha
Build Echogate UI (launcher & vault interface)
Begin weekly lore drops (10-min animated myth episodes)
Finalize GLM token logic + contract audit
Secure legal groundwork for PAET (Programmable Asset Engine Trust)
The Big Vision
This grant fuels our Phase I ignition — but we’re also pursuing a $1.5M+ capital raise through a PAET trust mechanism, designed to fund a 2-year mythos content and gameplay roadmap.
Gitcoin gets us there — by helping us prove:
- There’s demand for vault-based gameplay
- Narrative capital can be regenerative
- Ethereum can power worlds that feel alive
How You Can Help
- Drop your feedback in this thread
- Share with like-minded builders
- Help us align with the next Gitcoin round
- Or just say hi — we’re here to build
Thanks so much for reading. This project is our baby, and I’m honored to bring it to the Ethereum world.
Warmly,
Jacob and Prax
