Onboarding & Education of Web2 & Web3 OSS Builders
The plan focuses on onboarding and educating OSS builders by:
- Building a Database – Identifying early-stage builders using metrics from platforms like GitHub, GitLab, hackathons, and awards.
- Leveraging Partnerships – Using the Gitcoin Checker and OSO partnership, as well as similar grant programs from ecosystems like Arbitrum, Optimism, Metis, and Polygon for sourcing early-stage builders & cold outreach.
- Event Strategy – Organizing a structured series of events to guide builders from beginner to expert, ensuring continuity even if they miss an event.
- Targeting Web2 OSS Builders – Applying the same database-building strategy to Web2 developers and aligning events to smoothly transition them into Web3.
Program North Stars

- This would be ideal to do in the Early or Mid-Onboarding Program to leverage its content during the rest of the program

- Turn the answers into Bite-Sized Content with Storytelling Features
- Ideally, do it in a Twitter Space or Podcast-like Format with Livestreaming
