InfoFi Domain - GG24 Sensemaking Report

Appreciate this contribution on the InfoFi domain — the exploration of how information flows and financial coordination intersect feels timely and important.

In our proposal, instead of proposing a domain, we’re aiming to validate whether CollabBerry’s peer-based allocation and accountability tooling could serve across multiple domains.

What stood out here is your emphasis on information integrity and coordination. From our perspective, one of the often-overlooked layers of “information finance” happens inside projects: who did what, who contributed most, and how resources are allocated fairly once funding arrives. If this internal layer is opaque, the external info-financial system loses credibility too.

CollabBerry is experimenting with mechanisms that capture contributor-level input through peer review and transparent allocation, then automate distribution through safe, trackable channels. We’re curious if tools like this could complement the InfoFi conversation — ensuring that data about post-grant distribution is just as verifiable and trustworthy as the data about funding flows.

Do you see this type of contributor-level accountability mechanism as relevant for strengthening InfoFi’s vision?
