How might we scale Gitcoin's Impact from $50mm GMV to $500m GMV? 📈

I would like to offer some thoughts on how the DAO might scale that $50m GMV 10x up to $500m GMV.

Some pretty basic and pretty obvious suggestions:

To have ready to be deployed

When you have $500m of money to be deployed, there is a large amount of ways to spend it.

The easiest and the fastest way to achieve $500m in GMV (Gross Marketplace Value) is to have $500m burning your pocket.

Showcase / illustrate / demonstrate the value generated

I think that majority of the Web3 stack was at some point funded by Gitcoin.

Showcase success stories.

I think GainForest is quite successful.

I think Sablier is quite sucessful:

$500m is 10x from where we are right now, but in the grand scheme of things: conservative estimate.

Gitcoin has easy potential to go 100x from here, I can totally imagine a prosperous country like Norway or Saudi Arabia gives us 1% of their sovereing fund budget to fund public goods.

That’s achievable, that’s not unrealistic.
