Really excited about this proposal. It adds structure and clarity to some already existing frameworks while doubling-down on a community-centric focus.
I agree with Owocki’s point on community empowerment and progressive decentralization. I think this program will be essential in creating momentum in our community and innovation work.
One thing that I’m super mindful of is that our grants program offers less in overall dollars than, say, Arbitrum or OP. I know we have some passionate community members so my point might be mute but less amount of funding may create less excitement around our program. I am interested to see how much initial engagement it gets.
I think focusing on funding fewer, really impactful projects for larger portions of the grant pools might be a way to incentivize high-quality builders to this program.
