Notice of GDPR Subject Access Requests

I’ve asked some of the AI agents:

GDPR is only in the EU
Gitcoin is not EU entity, does not need to comply with the EU laws

AI agent replied:

You’re correct that GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) applies specifically to the European Union and entities operating within its jurisdiction or handling data of EU residents. Gitcoin, if not based in the EU and not targeting EU residents, would not be legally obligated to comply with GDPR. However, the individual submitting the request may believe their data is being processed by Gitcoin, prompting the subject access request. The effectiveness of this request would depend on Gitcoin’s operational scope and jurisdiction. For a definitive answer, I’d need to search Gitcoin’s legal status, which I can’t do now—would you like me to search for more details?

Would be nice to know the legal status of Gitcoin and whether you are vulnerable to GDPR. Some businesses chose to leave the EU and skip the vulunerability.

I’m pragmatic with my energy these days. For example slowing down the scammers: altersgate.com · Issue #208408 · MetaMask/eth-phishing-detect · GitHub

(see how many issues opened, insane)

Are you open to converting frustrated / hurt / destructive energy into something good?

I personally like the project.

I wish it a success.

I wish you a success.

Maybe there is “move on everyone is happy middle ground”?

If some money was spent on rent + food + confence travel = within common sense, I can imagine it as a plausible version of reality
