Have you guys spoken much with the Computational Democracy Project (@colinmegill)? They built pol.is (also packaged into RxC voice @GlenWeyl @alexrandaccio).
If I’m reading correctly, the ideas are similar (voting aims to select among existing ideas; discourse aims to surface better ideas; voting + discourse work well together and need each other).
A collaboration here could be interesting!
