Steward Scorecard: Ethereum Localism x Regen Coordination
Evaluated using my steward scorecard — manually reviewed for consistency, clarity, and alignment with GG24 criteria.
Submission Compliance
- Structured proposal with clear sensemaking, mechanisms, metrics, and domain infrastructure
- Deep ecosystem participation; strong coalition already forming
- Funding, partners, and pilot scope partially detailed but needs clearer October delivery
- Verdict:
Compliant
Scorecard Evaluation
Total Score: 13 / 16
| # | Criteria | Score | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Problem Clarity & Relevance | 2 | Clear articulation of Ethereum’s adoption gap and how localism addresses it |
| 2 | Sensemaking Approach | 2 | Extensive learning from dozens of previous rounds; strong ecosystem insights |
| 3 | Gitcoin Fit & Uniqueness | 2 | Aligns directly with Gitcoin 3.0’s mission and the DDA model |
| 4 | Fundraising Plan | 2 | $50K+ confirmed from CeloPG + verbal commitments from BioFi, EF, and others |
| 5 | Capital Allocation Design | 2 | Multi-mechanism: AlloKit, ImpactQF, EAS, KarmaGAP, Prosperity Pass — all relevant |
| 6 | Domain Expertise & Delivery | 2 | Regen Coordination + Silvi + BioFi bring legit experience in coordination and ops |
| 7 | Clarity & Completeness | 1 | Clear vision, but October pilots still need sharper scoping and delivery plan |
| 8 | Gitcoin Support Required | 0 | Will require Gitcoin infra, governance design, and matching network support |
Feedback for Improvement
Strengths
- Domain leverages real experiments: BioFi, ReFi Med, AI ImpactQF, etc
- Pilots proposed as place-based rounds — scoped well for replication
- “Total Value Flowed” metric is innovative and directly aligned with Ethereum values
Gaps
- October deliverables are not fully locked in (pilots, budgets, matching %s)
- No governance pathway outlined — who governs after GG24?
- Needs stronger public dashboard/infra plan for TVF & coordination metrics
Support
I support this domain. Ethereum Localism is thematically strong, strategically aligned, and backed by real-world coordination work. With clear pilot scoping and Gitcoin support, it can credibly deliver in GG24 and help evolve plural coordination at scale.
Would like to see before voting:
- 3–5 confirmed local pilot sites + steward orgs
- Named matching funders per pilot (even soft commits)
- Public dashboard plan for TVF + region tracking
