The current Grants Council of @meglister @owocki (who is OOO for the next 2 weeks) and @Viriya should take a look at this and comment. I imagine that they will rely on the expertise of @kyle to help suss out the opportunity here.
I also wonder how this ladders (or competes?) with the work being done by @deltajuliet in her treasury diversification post.
Lastly a couple of points for @rohit (our program manager) that are worth flagging:
- I think it’s worth pondering how to further decentralize the Grants Council roles in the coming months
- We also discussed making some amendments to the categories of submissions that might impact a proposal like this and am wondering when we can get more information about this upcoming shift.
